Buckey keys Ottawa Hills to victory over Ayersville

AYERSVILLE - J.J. Buckey played a part in all three of Ottawa Hills' scores, including a two first-half touchdown passes as Ottawa Hills defeated Ayersville 19-7 Friday night.

Buckey was 7 of 17 passing for 99 yards, including touchdowns of 19 and 24 yards to Matt Spetka and Taylor Savage, respectively.

Savage added 71 rushing yards on 20 carries.

Buckey put the Green Bears

(2-0) ahead 19-7 with a nine-yard TD run in the third quarter.

Ayersville (1-1) scored a TD on an eight-yard run by Steven Weisenburger.
