1 hurt in central Toledo shooting

Toledo police have identified Gary Roscoe, Jr. as the man who was shot in central Toledo today.

The victim, whose age was not released, was taken to Toledo Hospital, according to the Lucas County EMS. A hospital spokesman said she had no information about a person by that name.

The shooting occurred about 3:10 a.m. in the 1900 block of Joffre Avenue, police said.

The motive was not released. There was no word of arrests.

The incident remains under investigation.
