Perrysburg girls, Southview boys win NLL track championships
Southview and Perrysburg have recently ruled track and field in the Northern Lakes League their own particular way.
The Cougars’ boys more so than the Yellow Jackets’ girls, yet both continued to have a dominating presence during the NLL meet Friday at Maumee. Southview, led by seniors Malcolm Johnson and J.J. Pinckney, claimed a fourth straight NLL boys team championship. Perrysburg, paced by seniors Courtney Clody and Taylor Monheim, repeated as NLL girls team champions. READ MORE

Whitmer, Notre Dame take TRAC crowns
There was plenty of drama Friday night at the Three River Athletic Conference track and field championships at Clay.
With the boys team title on the line in the final meters of the final event, the 1600 relay, Whitmer senior Chris Boykin outdueled St. John’s Jesuit sophomore Jake Barnes by less than half a second. READ MORE

Toledo Christian girls, Gibsonburg repeat as TAAC champs
GIBSONBURG — The Toledo Christian girls and the Gibsonburg boys repeated as champions Friday at the Toledo Area Athletic Conference track and field meet.
