The teams met last Friday in Indiana, and the Komets rallied from a 2-0 deficit after two periods to take a 3-2 win in a shootout. ... Toledo doubled up Fort Wayne 6-3 in the first morning game Nov. 16. … Walleye F Mike Borkowski was named runner-up for ECHL player of the month honors for November. Borkowski had six goals and eight assists in 12 games last month. Borkowski ranks second on the team in scoring with 18 points (7 goals, 11 assists) in 19 games. F Christian Hilbrich leads the team with 19 points (10 goals, 9 assists) in 21 games. G Pat Nagle (12-1-2) was named the ECHL goalie of the month. He leads the league in wins and is sixth with a 2.36 goals-against average. … Toledo ranks ninth in goals for (3.43 per game) and second in goals allowed (2.43). Fort Wayne ranks fifth in goals scored (3.67) and is 12th in goals against (3.06). … The Walleye lead the ECHL in penalty kill percentage (90.9) and are 14th on the power play (17.5 percent). The Komets have the second-best penalty kill (89.5) and are 11th on the power play (18.2). … Fort Wayne is led by F Shawn Szydlowski, who has nine goals and 12 assists in 16 games, and G Michael Houser (7-5-2 with a 3.02 GAA). … Toledo hosts Tulsa and Wheeling on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
