Mural fit for a queen

The 127-by-25-foot painting of the Egyptian queen Nefertiti in front of the sun’s intense yellows and orange-reds, emblazons a wall at one end of UpTown Green, the city’s newest park at 311 18th St. in the Uptown neighborhood of Toledo. Dance, dash event raises funds

Almost Oktoberfest in full swing in Sylvania

Third Annual Almost Oktoberfest was in full force Saturday, September 20, 2014, near downtown Sylvania. The event featured the local band The Eight Fifteens, Memphis solo artist Rusty Lemmon, Sylvania singer Braden Stansley, and headliner Josh Thompson.
