Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart

The American Heart Association's Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart event was Feb. 20 at Perrysburg Junior High. students were taught about heart and cardiovascular health this week and capped it off with a physical education class with jump roping, hula hooping and other heart-healthy activities. Children also took donations for funding for the American Heart Association. This was the fourth year Perrysburg Junior High participated in the event, which raised about $2,500.
