Perrysburg Woman, 96, Finds Joy In Golf

Dorothy Landrum, 87, left, guides Harriet Culbertson, 96, both of Perrysburg, back to her clubs after Culbertson sank her putt at Tanglewood Golf Club in Perrysburg Township. Culbertson has been playing golf regularly for nearly three decades. She said her husband Max, who died in 1981, bought her first set of women's clubs for $7 in 1937.

Harriet Culbertson, 96, uses beads to keep track of her strokes in between shots. Culbertson, who suffers from macular degeneration, plays golf once a week on the Sweet Shots League. Her league members help keep track of her ball, but Culbertson still hits straight.
