Sylvania River Trail bridge installation
A major part of the Sylvania River Trail was installed Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012. The bridge connecting Harroun Park to the proposed SOMO area crossing Ten Mile Creek was installed on Wednesday. The bridge was constructed in two sections in Michigan, trucked to the sight and then bolted together and set into place with a large crane. The bridge is approximately 100 feet long by 14 feet wide.
