Outlook: Among 45 players for the Knghts, 14 are seniors.

"We have a good senior class that has a lot of Friday night experience," Johnson said. "We return eight starters on offense and have the potential to be pretty good there."

Smoyer earned All-NBC second team after completing 145 of 285 passes for 1,888 and 23 touchdowns. Hackworth was all-district and all-league first team after making 55 catches for 843 and 14 touchdowns. Limes earned All-NBC first team at tight end.

But Johnson said he needs to develop some depth.

"We need athletes to compete hard to fill holes on both sides of the ball," Johnson said. "We have quite a bit of varsity football experience coming back.

"If we can become more disciplined and consistent we will be competitive. We also need to develop depth at all positions."
