"That's what we're trying to change," Amstutz said.

The 11 seniors are led by Pinkelman, DeWitt, Garlic and Natter. However, Amstutz will call on juniors Bettinger and Brighton, as well as sophomore Coopshaw.

Evergreen lost several key performers like quarterback Matt Taylor (1,088 rushing yards, 1,002 passing yards) to graduation, but the Vikings return their starting offensive and defensive lines.
