FINDLAY - Centrex Corp., which makes injection-molded plastics parts for General Motors Corp., has announced it will close in about two months, putting 118 people out of work.

“Due to intense competition and overcapacity in this industry, Centrex has been unable to operate at a profit,” the company said in a statement.

GM car sales have been flat since August, said Thomas Haley, Centrex's president. In addition, most Centrex parts can be made just as easily at other plants, he said.
