No new talks were scheduled at Metal Forming and Coining Corp., of Maumee, where 68 members of United Auto Workers Local 12 have been on strike since Thursday.

The workers, who produce transmission parts of firms such as DaimlerChrysler AG. and Toledo's Dana Corp., walked off their jobs when a labor contract expired May 31 and no new agreement was reached on wage increases.

Workers haven't had a raise in five years, said Bruce Baumhower, Local 12 president. Steve Stanford, attorney for the company, said hourly wages range from $18.86 for production workers to $21.20 for skilled workers. He denied a union claim that the strike has halted production and said the company expects to meet all customer orders.
