Toledo man sent to prison in Ottawa County burglary

PORT CLINTON - A Toledo man yesterday was ordered to spend four years in prison for his role in the burglary and vandalism of a home in Ottawa County's Bay Township in November.

Adam Buck, 18, was sentenced in Ottawa County Common Pleas Court to three years for burglary. He was given one-year sentences for two counts of vandalism and was ordered to serve that time concurrent with the burglary sentence.

In addition, Buck was given a one-year sentence for failing to appear at a pretrial hearing while the case was pending. That time is to be served after he finishes his three-year burglary term.

Two other men, Ryan Walter, 18, of Oak Harbor and Christopher Miller, 19, of Port Clinton are awaiting sentencing on similar charges.

Authorities say the three men broke into the house at 1920 Willow Inn Rd. on Nov. 24 and vandalized it. During the incident, furniture, and flooring in the house were ignited.
