FINDLAY - Four Hancock County sheriff's deputies wrestled a Findlay man to the floor of Judge Reginald Routson's courtroon yesterday morning after he became enraged after a judge sentenced him to seven years in prison.
Jason Lenz, 27, overturned the glass-topped defendant's table, breaking the glass, and yelled at Judge Routson in Hancock County Common Pleas court.
Deputy Aaron Lentz, one of three deputies called in to assist the courtroom deputy, said no one was injured in the incident. Lenz was wrestled to the ground, handcuffed, and escorted back to the justice center, Deputy Lentz said.
Lenz had faced two to eight years in prison for felonious assault stemming from a June, 2003, bar fight at Wooley Bulley's on Tiffin Avenue.
