4th Lima man sentenced for fatal March shooting

LIMA, Ohio - The fourth man convicted in the fatal shooting of Robert Lee Starks in March was sentenced yesterday to 14 years in prison.

Thomas Johnson, 19, of Lima also was ordered by Allen County Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey Reed to pay $3,886 to the victim's family to cover a portion of the funeral expenses. Johnson had pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and robbery.

Mr. Starks, 19, was shot in the chest at his Pine Street residence March 22. Three other Lima men have been convicted and sentenced in connection with the homicide.
