FINDLAY - A man accused of sexually assaulting and taking nude photographs of two 12-year-old girls has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Randall J. Evans, 44, pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of rape, two counts of kidnapping, and two counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material.

Hancock County Common Pleas Court Judge Joseph Niemeyer dismissed 36 remaining counts against Evans as part of a plea agreement reached with the county prosecutor's office. As part of the agreement, Evans will not be eligible for early release from prison.

Evans was arrested last June by Kentucky State Police on a Greyhound bus near Campbellsburg after Findlay police issued an arrest warrant for him. The victims, who were friends, were reported missing from their homes after Evans lured them to his near-downtown apartment and assaulted them.
