City of Toledo employee John Fulton watches worker Dan Ledyard saw branches off ash trees near the Jackson and North Superior intersection in downtown Toledo. Many of the ash trees throughout the city have been affected by the emerald-colored pest and have been destroyed as a result. The beetle was found in 2002 in southeastern Michigan.
