3 convicted on sex-related offenses in Williams County

Three northwest Ohio men pleaded guilty yesterday in Williams County Common Pleas Court to sex-related charges involving children.

Rick Dale Hamrick, 47, of Bryan was convicted of single counts of sexual battery, illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, and pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, county Prosecutor Craig Roth said. Hamrick was indicted Sept. 21 on those counts, all of which involved a girl under age 16.

Hamrick's bond of $150,000 was continued pending sentencing Nov. 16. The sexual battery count, a third-degree felony, carries a penalty of one to five years in prison. The other two offenses are second-degree felonies that carry prison terms of two to eight years.

Also convicted yesterday were:

●Michael T. Judkins, 44, of Defiance on one count of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, a second-degree felony. Mr. Roth said Judkins took nude photographs of a 15-year-old girl between May 10 and Aug. 17.

●Michael L. Krupeany, 23, of Bryan on two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, both second-degree felonies. Mr. Roth said Krupeany engaged in sexual conduct with a 13-year-old girl during the summer.

Judkins and Krupeany are scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 17.
