Supreme Court names Phillips to client board

12/27/2006

The Ohio Supreme Court has appointed Toledo lawyer Jerome Phillips to a three-year term on its Clients' Security Fund Board of Commissioners. His term begins Monday and ends Dec. 31, 2009.

Money for the fund, established in 1985, is obtained through biennial registration fees paid by Ohio lawyers.

The commission consists of seven members, at least one of whom must not be a lawyer.
