A security guard found the body of a 54-year-old Toledo man missing since last week on the Martin Luther King Jr. Bridge late Monday, authorities said.

An autopsy on Raymon Gonzales may be performed tomorrow or Thursday, said Lucas County coroner s investigator Steve Kahle. He said Mr. Gonzales body was frozen, and the coroner will have to wait for the body to thaw before performing the autopsy.

A security guard on the bridge, which is closed and under construction, found Mr. Gonzales lying against a fence in the bushy area on the Summit Street side, Mr. Kahle said. He said there was no obvious signs of trauma or foul play.

Mr. Kahle said Mr. Gonzales had a seizure disorder and was possibly in the onset of Alzheimer s disease, according to his family, but didn t have any additional information on his condition.

Mr. Gonzales was last seen alive on Feb. 14, and family members reported him missing on Feb. 16, Mr. Kahle said.
