Second man charged with Thanksgiving murder

A second man has been charged with murder in the death of Marc Draper, who was killed Nov. 22 while cooking Thanksgiving dinner, authorities said.

Darin Armstrong, 27, of 2832 Kylemore Rd., was charged with murder and aggravated robbery. He is being held in the Lucas County jail without bond, authorities said.

Armstrong was arrested at his West Toledo home about 1 p.m. Monday.

Christopher Burleson, 42, of 1706 Joffre Ave., was indicted in December for one count of murder in the death of Mr. Draper. He also was indicted for aggravated robbery and having a weapon while under disability, each with a gun specification, authorities said. He remains in the county jail.

Mr. Draper, 36, was fatally shot about 3 a.m. while cooking Thanksgiving dinner at his home, 1638 Freeman St., authorities said.

He died from a single gunshot wound to the left side of his head, authorities said.
