BOWLING GREEN A former Bowling Green State University football player pleaded not guilty yesterday to charges that he took part in an armed home invasion at a Klotz Road apartment.

Jacob Hardwick, 21, of Virginia Beach, Va., is charged with robbery and aggravated burglary for the June 2 incident in which three intruders broke into an apartment and demanded marijuana from the occupants.

Wood County Common Pleas Judge Reeve Kelsey agreed to release Mr. Hardwick on his own recognizance on the conditions that he live with his uncle in Albany, Ga., and have no contact with the victims or his co-defendant, Orlando Barrow.
