Owens student arraigned on weapons charges

An Owens Community College student was arraigned yesterday in Perrysburg Municipal Court after he was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon on campus, authorities said.

Terrence Sandridge, 20, of Toledo, was being held last night in the Wood County jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bond.

Mr. Sandridge was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, a fourth-degree felony, and possession of a deadly weapon in a school safety zone, a fifth-degree felony, after his arrest about 2 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

He will appear again Thursday in Perrysburg Municipal Court.
