Teen shooting suspect pleads not guilty to crime

A Toledo teenager who police said waited in a car with another teenager while a third man, armed with a gun, entered a BP convenience store in August and shot and killed a clerk during a robbery, pleaded not guilty yesterday during his arraignment in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

Dymon Bolton, 18, of 623 Ranch Drive, is charged with two counts of obstructing justice after be was accused of providing false information to law enforcement officials conducting the murder investigation.

He was being held in the county jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

Also charged were Tony Bivens, Jr., 17, of 1024 Ranch Drive, with complicity to commit aggravated robbery, and Anthony Belton, 22, of 934 Cuthbert Rd., who faces the death penalty if convicted of the aggravated murder of 34-year-old Matthew Dugan.
