South Toledo business destroyed by early morning fire

A South Toledo kitchen renovation business was destroyed by a fire early Monday morning, authorities said.

Firefighters were called to Kitchen Design Plus at 5250 Renwyck Drive about 1:40 a.m.

Flames were shooting through the roof when they arrived.

An arson investigator was sent to the scene, but the cause is still under investigation, authorities said.

Kitchen Design Plus has been in business for more than 45 years, according to its Web site.
