Suspected drugs seized in Fostoria traffic stops

FOSTORIA — Police seized a large amount of suspected Ecstasy pills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and cash in two traffic stops Wednesday evening and yesterday morning.

Officers conducting “saturation patrols” arrested Charles Richardson, 31, of Fostoria, who was charged with possession of illegal narcotics and tampering with evidence; Brian Ferguson, 26, of Fostoria, who was charged with possession of marijuana; Lisa R. Craft, 35, of Upper Sandusky, who was charged with possession of illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia, and Vicki D. Vaughn, 55, of Upper Sandusky, who was charged with possession of illegal narcotics.

Fostoria police said that during a traffic stop on East Clark Street about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, they found 98 Ecstasy pills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and $951 in cash. During a subsequent stop at East Tiffin and Main streets about 12:15 a.m. yesterday, police said they recovered two crack pipes, two open cans of beer, and a variety of prescription drugs.
