Humane Society seeks help in burned-cat case

The Toledo Area Humane Society is looking for assistance in an animal cruelty case involving a badly burned cat.

The cat, which Humane Society staff named George, was severely burned on the head, face, and front legs. He has been heavily medicated for pain, and most of his ears have had to be removed. His vision is impeded by swollen eyelids and tightened skin from his burns. Yet he is friendly and loving to the staff treating him.
