Huntington Bank robbed in Adrian

ADRIAN - Police were looking last night for a man who robbed the Huntington Bank branch at 307 East Beecher St. about 3:45 p.m.

The man was described as white, about 6 feet tall, and wearing a black ball cap with "97" on the front. He had short sandy hair and, witnesses told police, was 35 to 40 years old.

He walked into the bank, implied he was armed, and demanded money from a teller. No gun was seen, and he left with an undetermined amount of cash.

Witnesses told police a gold Ford Taurus, perhaps a station wagon, was in the area before the robbery. Police did not know whether the vehicle was involved.
