Historic church being demolished
1/13/2010Crews demolish what was left of First Alliance Church at Collingwood
Boulevard and Monroe Street in Toledo's Uptown district after the historic building was virtually destroyed by an accidental fi re early last summer.
Founded in 1887, First Alliance has about 500 members and has been conducting worship services in its fellowship hall directly across Monroe.
