Dallas Powers, history teacher at Jefferson High School, has recently taken on several duties at no cost to the district.
His willingness to pitch in on behalf of the Jefferson High School team is greatly appreciated.
Mr. Powers has earned two master's degrees in the teaching and educational leadership from Marygrove College. He has also been an outstanding coach at many levels for many years.
“Mr. Powers is an excellent teacher who incorporates multiple learning strategies, co-teaching, differentiated instruction, and crosscurricular content in his lessons,” according to Tim Ballitch, assistant principal. “He actively engages students in the learning process.”
