FOSTORIA - A Fostoria man who allegedly robbed two men at gunpoint was arrested a short while later.

Sammy Torres, 22, was charged with aggravated robbery, having weapons under disability, tampering with evidence, and improper discharge of a firearm. Police said he also had a warrant for failure to appear from an unrelated incident.

Fostoria police said Torres was in a vehicle Thursday night with two other men who wanted to look at a car to buy when he allegedly pulled out a handgun, fired it once inside the car, and demanded money. He reportedly fled on foot.

He was found in a bathroom at a home on North County Line Street, police said.

A gun, $618 in cash, and parts of a cell phone were found in the bathroom.
