2 sobriety checkpoints set for Springfield Township

The Lucas County Operating a Vehicle while Influenced Task Force will stage two sobriety checkpoints in Springfield Township from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. today and tomorrow.

The checkpoints will be on Dorr Street east of McCord Road and on Garden Road at Holloway Road.

Participating law enforcement officers will come from Sylvania Township, Ottawa Hills, the University of Toledo, the Metroparks, and the sheriff's office.
