A man with a brown ski-type hat over his face Tuesday robbed a PNC bank in North Toledo at gunpoint and fled, dropping the money on the street, authorities said.

The man entered the bank at 625 East Manhattan Blvd. about 10:20 a.m., vaulted the counter, and took money from the teller drawers, the FBI said. He was armed with a black revolver, Toledo police said.

The robber fled in a stolen car. The getaway car was recovered near the bank. Police said that what they believed to be all the money taken by the robber was recovered on the street. They did not disclose the sum.
