PORT CLINTON - An Ottawa County grand jury Wednesday indicted a man on nine counts related to the robbery of a pharmacy and a police chase.

The indictment includes charges of receiving stolen property; forgery; theft by deception; theft of motor vehicle; robbery; theft of drugs, and two counts of failure to comply with officers' orders.

The robbery was reported about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at a Rite Aid store at 1626 East Perry St. Police said a man threatened employees, who turned over prescription medication.

The man then drove away, leading police on a brief chase until the vehicle crashed. Mr. Lynch was arrested and taken to Magruder Hospital for treatment.
