Williams County man killed in SUV rollover

MONTPELIER, Ohio — A Williams County man was killed when he lost control of and was thrown from his sport-utility vehicle about four miles east of this community, Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Kevin E. Traxler, 47, of Montpelier, was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.

Mr. Traxler was eastbound on State Rt. 107 about 4:45 p.m. Sunday when he drifted left of center and off the north side of the roadway. He overcorrected and went off the south side, and was thrown from the vehicle as it rolled over several times.

Alcohol use is suspected in the crash, troopers said.

Montpelier is about 55 miles west of Toledo.
