W. Toledo credit union robbed by armed man
8/11/2010An armed man in a ski mask robbed the Directions Credit Union in West Toledo Tuesday of an undisclosed amount of money, authorities said.
The suspect entered the credit union at 3450 West Central Ave. about 9:30 a.m. and demanded money from a teller. He fled in a stolen vehicle that authorities later recovered, the FBI said.
The suspect wore a long-sleeved light-blue T-shirt, gray pants, and white sneakers. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the FBI at 419-243-6122 or the Toledo Police Crime Stopper Program at 419-255-1111.
