Fayette man killed in two-vehicle accident in Lenawee County
8/12/2010MORENCI, Mich. — A Fayette, Ohio man was killed Wednesday in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Morenci Road and Munson Highway, just west of here.
James Mynhier, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 10 a.m. accident in Lenawee County's Medina Township, troopers at the Michigan State Police said.
He was a passenger in a pickup truck driven by Cris Johnson, 36, also of Fayette.
Troopers said that Mr. Johnson was westbound on Morenci and collided with a truck driven by Richard Perry, 75, of Bowling Green, who failed to yield for the stop sign on Munson.
Mr. Johnson was listed in good condition Thursday in Toledo Hospital. Mr. Perry was treated at the Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon, Ohio.
The accident remains under investigation, troopers said.
