Navarre elementary students remember 9/11

CTY remember11p  9/10/10  The Blade/Dave Zapotosky John Martis, 11, left, and Charlene Palmer, 11, right, raise the U.S. flag as students and staff at Navarre Elementary School in East Toledo hold a brief ceremony to remember the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Friday September 10, 2010.  Both are sixth grade students. A moment of silence was observed and essays were read by two sixth grade students, Paul Espino, and Locadio Ruiz. CTY remember11p  9/10/10  The Blade/Dave Zapotosky Students at Navarre Elementary School in East Toledo watch as the U.S. flag is raised in front of their school during a ceremony to remember the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Friday Spetember 10, 2010.  Kindergarten students from front row left, include Karissa Santillo, Brittney Engelhardt, Justice Clark, Jewel Martinez, and Alyssa Slater.   A moment of silence was observed and essays were read by two sixth grade students, Paul Espino, and Locadio Ruiz.  Summary:  9/11 observation at Navarre Elementary School.
