Venture of Andersons to produce dry ice
10/7/2010One of the western Ohio ethanol plants owned partly by The Andersons Inc. of Maumee is to start making dry ice.
The Andersons Marathon Ethanol LLC in Greenville has reached an agreement with Continental Carbonic Products Inc., which will buy the dry ice and build a 50,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, the suburban Toledo company announced Wednesday.
The new facility will employ 70. The ethanol plant is jointly owned by The Andersons and a unit of Marathon Oil Corp.
