West Toledo shooting sends man to the hospital
10/11/2010Toledo police arrested a man and accused him of shooting another man late Sunday in West Toledo, authorities said.
Tijay Simpson, the shooting victim, was taken to an area hospital, police said. His condition was not released.
The shooting occurred about 10:30 p.m. at 3873 Westland Ave., police said.
The gunman, whose name was not immediately available, was arrested and booked into the Lucas County jail pending arraignment in Toledo Municipal Court, officers said.
The shooting remained under investigation.
