Local Artists' Holiday Boutique, a temporary retail store that specializes in crafts, jewelry, artwork, and other unique items by area artists, has opened at 1215 West State St. in Fremont.

Sylvania Sports World, offering tumbling, cheerleading, dance, and martial arts classes, has opened a 12,800-square-foot gym in the Starlite Plaza shopping center at 5700 Monroe St., Sylvania.
