The Northwest Ohio Center for Labor-Management has been named as one of 11 Ohio organizations that will receive funds to identify and assist companies at risk of closure or layoffs.

The $90,000 grant was awarded by the Ohio Department of Development to help improve labor-management relations.

The state handed out $2.4 million for its Early Warning Network to help companies before closure or cutbacks are done.
