Andersons recycling electronics, documents

BLADE STAFF

The Andersons Inc. is holding two events at area stores for residents interested in having electronics recycled or documents destroyed.

The first event will be Saturday at its Maumee store, 530 Illinois Ave., and the second is planned for April 30 at the Woodville Mall store, 3725 Williston Rd. in Northwood.

Both events are scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and are being co-sponsored by The Blade.

The list of electronics being accepted for recycling is lengthy and includes computers and computer parts, printers, cell phones, DVD players, and microwaves.

A donation is appreciated to help defray expenses. TVs, air conditioners or appliances, paint, fluorescent bulbs, or alkaline batteries will not be accepted.
