Wood County man dies after Five Point Rd. crash
7/1/2011A 78-year-old Wood County man was killed Thursday afternoon when his car went off Five Point Road near Thompson Road and hit a culvert, troopers at the Bowling Green post of the Ohio Highway Patrol said.
He was identified as Harold M. Stone, of 3561 Truman Rd., Troy Township.
Troopers said Mr. Stone was westbound on Five Point approaching Thompson about 12:25 p.m. when his car went off the road, struck a culvert, and turned on its side in a ditch.
He was wearing a seat belt. The crash remained under investigation.
