Natural gas line leak closes State Rt. 795
7/16/2011A ruptured natural gas main Friday closed State Rt. 795 at Hufford Road in Perrysburg Township for nearly four hours, authorities said.
The gas leak was reported at 11:26 a.m. Route 795 was closed to traffic in both directions about 11:30 a.m., according to a township police and fire dispatcher.
The odor of natural gas additives could be detected hundreds of yards from the location.
The leak was repaired and road was opened by 3:18 p.m., according to Perrysburg police.
