About 250 people were still without electricity from weekend storms in the Toledo area as of Sunday evening, along with all the residents and businesses of the village of Elmore.

A Toledo Edison spokesman said the power should be restored by 8 p.m.

Meanwhile, about 700 residential and business customers in Elmore are looking forward to having power restored by Monday morning.

Toledo Edison, which supplies electricity to a municipally operated utility in Elmore, has brought in a mobile substation to replace one that took a direct hit from lightning on Friday.
