Wind-downed power lines early Thursday morning caused power outages and a brief road closure on Front Street between Consaul and Bogar streets in East Toledo, authorities said.

Eagle Academy was closed Thursday because of the outage.

There were no injuries, according to the Lucas County EMS.

About 380 utility customers in the area reported power outages, utility spokesman Reggie Strauss said. The lines were downed when a utility pole was partially felled, apparently by the wind, he said.

The incident was reported about 6 a.m. About an hour later, traffic on the road returned to normal.

The utility restored the power to all the affected customers by 10:50 a.m., the spokesman said.
