ACHIEVEMENTS

Scott Brinker has been promoted to executive vice president in charge of investments at Health Care REIT Inc. of Toledo, an S&P 500 company that invests in senior housing and health-care real estate. Mr. Brinker had been a senior vice president in charge of underwriting and research.

Kenneth J. Cooper has been named president of Skylink Ltd., a Findlay-based telecommunications contractor that provides field services to satellite television and Internet companies. Mr. Cooper has been with Skylink since 2002, most recently serving as its director of field operations.

Nathan A. Hall has been named a partner at the law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick LLP of Toledo. Mr. Hall, who represents business clients in the firm's litigation practice group, has been with the law firm since 2003.

Adam J. Kral, a former principal at Spring Valley Architects, has been named architectural division manager at the firm of Feller, Finch & Associates, an engineering, architectural, and surveying firm in Maumee.

General contractor the Douglas Co. of Holland has named Lisa Behrendt as its director of people development. Most recently she was human resources business leader at SSOE Inc. of Toledo.
