Sarah Corpening to lead Toledo Bar Association

Attorney Sarah A. Corpening will be the 10th executive director of the Toledo Bar Association following the retirement this month of Trish Branam.

Ms. Corpening, a 1999 graduate of the University of Toledo college of law, was the chief executive officer of the Family and Child Abuse Prevention Center in Toledo for the past 10 years. While attending law school, Ms. Corpening was executive director of the Safe Harbour Domestic Violence Shelter in Sandusky.

Originally from Jamestown, N.Y., Ms. Corpening has a bachelor’s degree from Lake Erie College. She and her husband, Ernie, live in Oregon.
