ACHIEVEMENTS

Monica Evans has joined Thread Marketing Group of Maumee as its corporate controller. She previously was treasurer of Exceleration Gymnastics Center in Toledo.

Peter Gerger has been named vice president of dealer sales for Bostwick-Braun Company. He joined the Toledo-based wholesale hardware distributor and industrial supplier in 2007. He was formerly director of dealer sales.

Matt Mazur has been named president and chief operating officer of Bostwick-Braun Company's industrial supply division. He was previously vice president of sales for Strong Tool Company and new business development manager of Advanced Technology Services.

Learfield Sports of Plano, Texas, has named Kyle Droppers as its general manager for Falcon Sports Properties, of Bowling Green, which is the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Bowling Green State University athletics. Most recently, Mr. Droppers had been senior development manager for the Orlando Magic professional basketball team in Orlando, Fla.

Cooperative Business Services LLC, a Cincinnati-based firm that provides lending services to credit unions, has promoted John Skeldon to vice president of business development at its northwest Ohio office. Before joining CBS in 2009, Mr. Skeldon was a leasing specialist and development coordinator with Rudolph/Libbe Properties.

The Associated General Contractors of Northwest Ohio has named its new officers for 2012. They are: Matt Townsend, president; Royce Kohlman, vice president, and Mike Pollauf, secretary/treasurer.

The Mannik & Smith Group of Maumee, has received an Engineering Merit Award from the American council of Engineering Companies of Michigan for the company's Frenchtown Township Seawall Rehabilitation Project in Monroe.

DLZ, an engineering and architectural firm based in Columbus, has opened a Toledo office in Fifth Third Center building, One Seagate, 6th floor.

Perry Corp., of Lima, Ohio, a provider of office automation technology, has acquired Enterprise Office Systems, of Toledo.

The rebuilt Bob Evans Restaurant on North Clinton Street in Defiance will reopen to the public on Monday. Its new look includes a new color scheme, furniture and fixtures, and a bakery. Prizes will be given away throughout the day.
